SVMS - Newsletters
DIRECTOR'S CORNER Dear Parents, Thank you to all parents for continuously supporting our school activities. The field trip was a success and I am so proud of our children's behavior outside the school campus. I would like to thank our parents for their donations and time spend to help us enrich our school curriculum, Officer Patrick Hughes and wife Susan Agassi Hughes for their donations of bicycles, Grace Gore for the books and daycare toys, Dr. Deana Young for her time and expertise in teaching science to our elementary, Bridget Grant for our “Martin Luther King Celebration”, and to those parents who joined and help us transport the children in the field trip. We have submitted our Fresh and Easy receipts to their main office and we were able to gather 376 points, which is equivalent to $376.00. Fresh and Easy will be sending us the check not later than May 2011. We received $605.00 cash donations form our parents and were able to raise $ 125.00 from the gift cards sale. From the Donuts sale, we were able to raise $160.00 and from Sammy's Pizza we raised $94.29. The total money raised is $1,360.29. Thank you very much for all your support. We will celebrate Valentine's Day on Monday, February 14th. The children will have Valentine's exchange and potluck party. The sign up sheet will be posted on Friday, February 4th. Friendly reminder, there will be no school on Monday, February 21 -”President's Day”. Thank you, Ms. Susan Alcantara Director SVMS |
