Kindergarten Newsletter Welcome parents!
January was a great month for us, what a way to start off the New Year! We had a wonderful time on our field trip to Artemus Ham Hall to see Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. Thank you to all family members for joining us and being able to help out!
We welcome three students to our class: Aaron Troncoso, Jada Goodwin, and Dennis Przybyszewski. We are excited to have you in our room!
Our theme for the month is Music and Art enrichment. Monday 7th will be our 100th day of school! To celebrate our 100th day of school we will introduce the 100 board and participate in activities and crafts. We will continue to skip count and introduce odd and even numbers.
In Language, we will introduce high frequency sight words. We will also continue to work and build our phonetic alphabet and beginning blends.
For Practical Life, we will do apple cutting, measuring, and grating.
For Science, we will conduct experiments on water and ice and sink and float.
Reminders: -Our Valentine’s Day party will be on Monday 14th. Cards may be exchanged, but please be sure to send one to every child. A class list will be in your child’s take home folder. -Monday 21st Presidents Day (No School) Thank you, Ms. Jessica |
